Barn coat

Okay, I think I have a new hobby.

After much mulling over firstly whether I should take on this rather ambitious project, and secondly what fabric to use, I have successfully made a barn coat!

Success is in the eyes of the doer, and while, yes, this coat contains many, many mistakes, I really don't think anyone except me would notice. And I tend to be charmed by my own mistakes anyway. It's my wonky stitching.

I'm absolutely stoked about it.

You can't see from the picture, but the undercollar, inside cuffs and a layer of the double pockets are all bright yellow, making it all the more exciting and a bit less rural.

Once again this is a Closet Core pattern, the Fowler it is. It is a roomy coat that fits layers underneath. I plan to also knit myself a new jumper and spend the colder months in the two together. (I get a bit too dependent on my puffer jacket.)

I'm not sure what the next project will be just yet, but you can be confident there will definitely be a next project.
