Me

I am here to share my interests and idle thoughts. I have too many hobbies, all of which please me, none of which I excel at.

The things I expect to be posting about are live music I've seen, creative projects and other things I like. I am writing this before having posted anything so we shall see if reality and intentions meet.

I make notes about books at Outside of a Dog.
And films on Letterboxd.
I am findable on the fediverse, specifically Mastodon

Previous attempts

It's 2025 and this is the third iteration of the blog that goes by the name skyhulk.net.

The first one (2019) I made with Wordpress and Divi, a platform which I found overblown and annoying.

Next I coded my own blog (2021), which was a fun project at the time but then I never updated it once. And if I had, the novelty of updating every other page would've worn off rapidly. Now I know why people use platforms.

So now I am back on a blogging platform (Ghost) and hoping to have found the Goldilocks zone.
